FR010 is the fan app for Feyenoord supporters, developed on behalf of Voetbal Rotterdam.

We built the app in Flutter for iOS and Android. Supporters follow live matches with real-time scores, receive push notifications for important news and keep track of the schedule and standings.

The challenge

Serving Feyenoord supporters on mobile with live data

Feyenoord supporters wanted live match information on their mobile, without having to wait for a website to refresh. The app had to be fast, reliable and appealing to a loyal and discerning fanbase.

The approach

Flutter app with Firebase push notifications and real-time data

We chose Flutter to serve both iOS and Android with a single codebase. Live match data is fetched via a REST API. Firebase Cloud Messaging handles push notifications so supporters are immediately informed of important news.
